Over two nights, join me (Leanne) to build the skills and confidence to recognise, understand and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief and loss.

Dates: 23rd & 24th March 2026
Time: 5:30pm – 8:30pm (both evenings)
Format: In-person, after-hours training

Complete your accreditation across two structured evenings, in-person, designed for those who work full-time and are seeking after-hours professional development.

This course provides the knowledge, skills and confidence to achieve Grief First Aid Accreditation, equipping you to recognise, understand and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief.

The Grief First Aid (GFA) course equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand, and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief and loss, ensuring those affected feel heard, respected, and supported.

With 80% of grieving employees saying they don’t receive meaningful support and 30% feeling their grief isn’t acknowledged, workplaces often misinterpret grief related behaviours as performance issues—creating unnecessary risk and harm.

By becoming a Grief First Aider, you play a vital role in breaking the silence around grief. You help create safe and supportive pathways for colleagues, friends, and community members, while fostering environments that normalise conversations about grief, reduce stigma, and provide meaningful support.

  • Accreditation is awarded by GFA upon completing the training and short assessment.
  • Accredited Grief First Aider status is valid for three years, ensuring knowledge remains current.
