DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\n\n\n\nOver two nights\, join me (Leanne) to build the skills and confidence to recognise\, understand and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief and loss. \n\n\n\nDates: 16th & 17th March 2026\nTime: 5:30pm – 8:30pm (both evenings)\nFormat: In-person\, after-hours training \nComplete your accreditation across two structured evenings\, in-person\, designed for those who work full-time and are seeking after-hours professional development. \nThis course provides the knowledge\, skills and confidence to achieve Grief First Aid Accreditation\, equipping you to recognise\, understand and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief. \nThe Grief First Aid (GFA) course equips participants with the knowledge\, skills\, and confidence to recognise\, understand\, and respond with empathy to adults experiencing grief and loss\, ensuring those affected feel heard\, respected\, and supported. \nWith 80% of grieving employees saying they don’t receive meaningful support and 30% feeling their grief isn’t acknowledged\, workplaces often misinterpret grief related behaviours as performance issues—creating unnecessary risk and harm. \nBy becoming a Grief First Aider\, you play a vital role in breaking the silence around grief.
